Never do birthday math again with =DATEDIF
Hi there! Here’s how most of us learned how to do our jobs: somebody handed us a laptop, a login, and a cheerful “Let me know if you need anything!” Then everything we learned after that came from lots of trial and error. 😅
Which explains why so many people use Excel and AI like they’re rivals. We weren’t taught that the real magic happens when you put them together. ✨
That's exactly what I'll show you in my free live Excel and AI class. In just one hour, you'll learn how to actually use AI with Excel (without the frustration), and you'll walk away knowing how to:
Combine AI and Excel so the two do the heavy lifting together
Save 5+ hours per week with my favorite ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot workflows
Catch AI’s mistakes before they land in front of your boss
Free up time for the projects that position you for raises and promotions
Let’s turn “There has to be a faster way 😩” into “Found it. 😎” Grab your spot and I’ll see you in class!

Never Do Birthday Math Again 🎂
You’re walking back from the break room when you spot your coworker at their desk counting on their fingers. Huh. Are they splitting a lunch bill? Figuring out how much PTO they have left?
Nope. Turns out they’re calculating everyone’s age by hand to send to HR and they figured this was just how it had to be done. 🫠It is not how it has to be done!
Here’s what you’re going to show them instead:
Step 1) In your desired cell type =DATEDIF
Step 2) Select the birthdate cell (C3 in our example)
Step 3) Type TODAY()
Step 4) Add “Y” (which tells Excel to give you the answer in years)
The final formula is: =DATEDIF(C3,TODAY(),”Y”)

Step 5) Double click to drag down. Voila!

Heads up: =DATEDIF( doesn’t appear in Excel’s dropdown list of suggested functions. 👀 Don’t panic! It’s just an older function for file compatibility (but it still works perfectly fine).

Manifesting, But Make It Practical ✨
A funny thing happens when you tell certain people you’re into manifesting: they nod politely and brace themselves. 😅
Because the word itself has a reputation. Vision boards! Incense! Affirmations in the mirror! But underneath all the woo-woo packaging? Manifestation is just about getting clear on what you want and then taking action toward it. That’s it!
Here are three practical ways you can manifest — no bay leaves or candles required — that’ll click for even the most skeptical person:
Write a letter to your future self. Write a letter as if the thing you want has already happened and schedule it to arrive a year from now (I use futureme.org). Describing your ideal life in present tense forces you to get specific — and specific goals are easier to chase!
Clear your fear. Big goals come with big nerves! The promotion comes with more responsibility. The 10K followers come with more attention. The trick is to shrink the scary thing down. Speak up in the meeting you’d normally stay quiet in. Post the video that scares you. Each rep expands your nervous system!
Say it out loud. People can’t connect you to opportunities they don't know you're looking for. The moment you start telling folks what you're after, you multiply the number of people keeping an eye out on your behalf. It's the least mystical thing and one of the most effective. 😉
None of this requires any woo! It’s just goal-setting and getting after it. And once you start, I promise you’ll be amazed at how fast things can change. ✨
