Excel’s most satisfying feature 👀
Build an auto-updating task tracker in 3 steps!
Hi there! Let’s do a little visualization exercise. 🧘
Picture the version of you that leaves work early because you set up an AI automation that handles your file renaming, email writing, and all those pesky weekly tasks that eat your time.
Deadlines? Handled. Inbox? Cleared. Stress? Don’t know her.
The only difference between imagining this life versus having it? One free AI class! I’ll teach you how to automate your busywork with AI, saving you 3+ hours a week (that’s 156 hours a year, but who’s counting 🤓).
Plus, you’ll leave with plug-and-play prompts and workflows you can apply at work that day, no matter your role or industry!
But the visualization only works if you show up. This is your last chance to register for class before doors close on Friday. Save your seat before they’re gone!

The Most Satisfying Feature in Excel ☑️
There are few things as satisfying as ticking something off your to-do list. (Between us: I love checking things off so much that I’ll add tasks I’ve already finished, just to cross them off again. 🤣)
But if you’re doing checkboxes in Excel like this… 👇

…let me show you a better way! Excel has clickable checkboxes built in (no drawing required!). And if you want to take it up a notch, there’s a formula that makes your task tracker update itself.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1) Select all the cells where you want checkboxes
Step 2) Go to Insert > Checkbox (or use the shortcut Alt + N + C + B if you’re on a PC!)

Step 3) Type this formula in the next column: =IF(D5=TRUE, “DONE”,”NOT DONE”)

Double-click down. Done! Now every time you check a box, your status flips to DONE all by itself. That little click is the closest thing Excel has to a dopamine button, if I do say so myself. ✨
P.S. Want to save this tip on your phone for later? Here it is on Instagram!

Get Ahead of AI (Instead of Worrying About It) 📈
“I don’t even know what parts of my job I can automate. 🫠”
If that thought is what stops you from trying AI, you’re not alone! Most of us are so deep in our daily to-dos that we can't tell which ones AI could be doing for us. (Spoiler: it's more than you think.)
That's exactly what my free AI class solves. You’ll learn:
What repetitive work AI should do (hello, reclaimed afternoons!)
What work should stay human-led so you can delegate with confidence (no worrying about second guessing here!)
How to quickly audit your own workload for automation opportunities
By the end, you’ll have less busywork, less stress, and feel confident about AI (instead of worrying about being replaced by it). 📈
But registration ends this Friday. Thousands of people have already registered, and I’d hate for you to be left behind. Save your seat while there’s still room!

The Simple Way to Become Magnetic 🧲
When I first started Miss Excel, I made myself a deal: post one video a day for 30 days. Some days filming was a breeze. Other days, I’d do 53 takes of the same sentence and start questioning my sanity. 🫠
But I kept the promise. And looking back, that promise built something bigger than my content. It built trust in myself.
That’s the secret to becoming magnetic. Every time you say you’ll do something, and then actually do it, you’re depositing trust into your (metaphorical) bank account.
And this account earns serious interest. The trust compounds into confidence, discipline, and self-assuredness—the type of stuff that pulls what you want toward you.
Don’t worry: These promises don’t have to be Everest-sized! ⛰️ They can be as simple as:
“Every Friday this month, I’m doing a three-mile run.”
“I’m going to get over my fear and eat alone at a restaurant.”
“I’m going to post every day on TikTok for one week.”
Start small. After a while, as you gain confidence, you’ll start making bigger and bigger promises. And before you know it? You’ll be the person getting up to things most people dream of doing.
That’s magnetic. ✨

Thanks for reading! I was just in London and crossed a big dream off my list: Harry Potter Studios! Let's just say it was by far the most dangerous gift shop I've ever been left alone in. (My partner Mike found me twenty minutes later holding a wand, a scarf, and a chocolate frog 😂).
P.S. I have a secret video at Harry Potter Studios I might share soon on @kat_norton. 🤫 Follow me there to be the first to see it!
Stay Exceling,
